QUALIFICATIONS UPDATE
The reviewed National Certificates for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants are now registered on the NZQA website - Click here to view.
We've been asked lots of questions about the reviewed qualifications, particularly by those who already hold the current version. Click here for some of the most common.
If you have any other questions, contact us and we'll be happy to answer them.
The continuing professional development modules for pharmacy technicians with the old version of the National Certificate are still in the process of being written. If you are interested in these modules and you haven't already advised us please email tina@pito.org.nz and we will add you to the list of people to contact. For everyone who has previously advised us of their interest in these modules do not need to do anything unless their contact details change. We will advise you as soon as these modules become available.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS AVAILABLE
Various scholarships and grants may be available to students undertaking technician and assistant training with a tertiary training institution. When enrolling you should check with your provider what scholarships you can apply for.
